PLETHEM

All exposure parameters are user defined. Only one route of exposure may be added/modeled at a time. After saving one exposure click the 'Reset Exposures' button to add another.

*Recommended Bolus Oral Dosing Range: 0.01 (mg/kg BW) to 10,000 (mg/kg BW)

All exposure parameters are user defined. Only one route of exposure may be added/modeled at a time. After saving one exposure click the 'Reset Exposures' button to add another.

*Recommended Chemical Concentration Range: 0.2 (mg/L) to 200,000 (mg/L)

All exposure parameters are user defined. Only one route of exposure may be added/modeled at a time. After saving one exposure click the 'Reset Exposures' button to add another.

*Recommended Bolus Oral Dosing Range: 0.01 (mg/kg BW) to 10,000 (mg/kg BW)

*Recommended Chemical Concentration Range: 0.01 (ppm) to 10,000 (ppm)
All exposure parameters are user defined. Only one route of exposure may be added/modeled at a time. After saving one exposure click the 'Reset Exposures' button to add another.

*Recommended IV Infusion Range: 0.01 (mg/h) to 10,000 (mg/h)

All exposure parameters are user defined. Only one route of exposure may be added/modeled at a time. After saving one exposure click the 'Reset Exposures' button to add another.

*Recommended Dermal Deposition Rate Range: 0.01 (mg/cm²/h) to 2 (mg/cm²/h)

All parameters are user defined, except the fraction dissolved in liquid phase of plasma. This is calculated using the QSAR model selected. To learn more about the selected QSAR model click the QSAR model information button.

Chemical Parameters

*Leave pKa value at -200 if no value is availible. For example a monoprotic acid with a pKa of 3.14, would have a pKa1 of 3.14 and a pKa2 of -200.

The organism, gender, and age must be entered by the user. All other parameters will be estimated by PLETHEM. However the user may supercede any of the parameters predicted by PLETHEM.

The fat partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The skin partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The muscle partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The bone partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The brain partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The lung partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The heart partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The GI partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The liver partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The kidney partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The RPF tissue partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The SPF tissue partition coefficient will be calculated from the selected QSAR model.

The rate of fecal excretion is defined by the user.
